I enjoy designing and developing product experiences.
I currently work as the Lead Product Designer at Facebook on Groups. I am happy to design for a huge and active group of people who are spread all around the world. I get to work with some of the most talented designers in the world on a daily basis in a unique environment that encourages you to pursue working on projects that matter to you.
Before Facebook, I was working as a Front-End Developer at Electric Pulp building the responsive commerce websites. Electric Pulp is a fantastic agency in South Dakota that specializes in e-commerce sites. While I was there, we also built Duo, an macOS web browser for responsive web developers.
I’ve also built and released two other apps to the App Store, MOON for iOS and Blind Browser for macOS. MOON has become the most popular moon app in the world and Blind was mentioned on Daring Fireball and has become a resource for web developers working in higher resolutions.
I got started in design and development at Wright, an auction house in Chicago. I helped create the most engaging auction website in the industry with my colleagues. In three years, page views increased 350% and average visitor duration increased by 30%.
In my spare time I make music, fly drones, and relentlessly scour the internet with my wonderful gemini wife. You might also find me performing somewhat heroic acts on various video game platforms. My name is usually gargarbot.
Feel free to contact me if you would like to get in touch.
